JESUS CHRIST – LIFE & MESSAGE

Although Jesus Christ sojourned on this Earth only for 32 years and His active Mission lasted but two years, He has left a profound impress on the history of mankind. The calendar-years are numbered from his Advent and the Cross which is the burden every human has to carry became a symbol of sacrifice and Redemption in the hands of the Son of God. Ramana Maharishi used to explain that the Cross represents the first person singular pronoun ‘I’ duly crossed out – i.e., the eradication of the Ego is the criterion for Liberation from the cycle of birth and death. ‘I am the Resurrection and the Life. He that believeth in me, even if he were dead, yet shall he live; and he that liveth and believeth in me shall never see death.’ ‘If you abide in me, and my Words abide in you, wish what you will and it shall be given’ are the powered Words of Jesus springing from Purity & Peace and valid for all time.
