BURDEN TO EARTH
O, Lord Ekambara
enshrined in Kanchi!
It makes no difference
whether they live or
die
they who are
compulsive liars,
they who denigrate
good and noble souls,
they who
abuse
the
mothers who gave them birth,
they who are
engaged
in
endless schemings,
they who do
not care
to
learn the sacred texts,
they who
fail to extend
any
help to others,
and they who
turn away
supplicants
in distress.
